10:00a-10:20a *AMX by Harman “Room Configuration Made Easy & Networked AV”

We will cover two topics.  First, we will show how AMX’s Rapid Project Maker (RPM) can let you configure a room in less than an hour; no programming skills needed. Next, we will discuss how to distribute AV over your existing network using SVSi encoders and decoders.  With network infrastructure getting more robust, it’s become practical to use your existing network to distribute AV with resolutions up to 4K.

Tom Mykietyn, Higher Education Managercurrently helps higher education clients implement technology enabled learning spaces.  His previous roles include marketing positions with Sony, Sharp and Pioneer.

Ryan Ostrow, Sales Engineeris part of Harman’s Technical Resource Organization where he assists in the design and development of technology controlled environments.  He previously worked as a system integrator in the Philadelphia region.

Adam Weinstein is the Account Executive for Aruba an HP Enterprise Company for the Greater Philadelphia Area.  Adam has a focus on the Higher Ed and K-12 Education segments for Aruba.  Adam shares his many customers’ experiences with Mobility Challenges in the GenMobile Era and how they have overcome them.  His most successful customers do not limit their end users, but rather enable them to access all of their resources from anywhere, in a way that is Simple, Secure, Stable and Smart.  Adam has been with Aruba for 2.5 years, and spent his previous 6 years with Motorola’s Wireless Technology group.

Bob Zapotocky is an Application Sales Manager with AT&T’s Government, Education and Medical Organization (AT&T GEM).  Bob is responsible for AT&T’s Unified Communications, Cloud Collaboration and Public Health Strategy and Technical Support for our State and Local Government, and Education customers in states east of the Mississippi River.  In his years supporting AT&T GEM, Bob has shared industry trends, critical analysis and strategic insights in presentations for a number of organizations including the International Telecommunications Professional Exchange (IPTX), Tennessee Educational Technology Association (TETA), Ohio Higher Education Computing Council (OHECC) and The University System of GA Board of Regents.  He has also participated in and provided content for podcasts, whitepapers and articles published by various industry trade and media outlets. 

Bob has 17 years of experience with AT&T in a variety of positions supporting enterprise and public sector clients in their efforts to lead IP transformation within their organizations.  He holds an MBA from Suffolk University and completed The Emerging Leaders Program with the Center for Collaborative Leadership at UMass Boston.  When he is not supporting clients’ IP Transformation efforts, Bob is enjoying life with his wife and three amazing, digital-native daughters in Northwest FL.
