You are cordially invited to join us for a unique PADLA evening event (Free Hors-d'oeuvres & Cash Bar) @ Wilmington University in New Castle, DE, co-hosted by the Technology Forum of Delaware, for an exploration of the technologies that are behind sustainable competencies. Insights will be shared into how technologies such as micro learning, non degrees, badging, gamification, and e-portfolios are being implemented together to drive credentialing and ultimately sustainable competencies for corporate and higher education.

PRESENTATION

New digital learning technologies, such as Gamification and Virtual Reality, are constantly being added to the set of tools available to learning organizations. Some work other and others don’t. John Royer, Founder & Managing Partner of InSiteHub, is an award- winning learning strategist and technologist, and an expert in learning trends, will present a studied look at the impact of learning technologies over time. He will illustrate how each new wave of technologies has contributed to how today’s corporate training departments are increasing “learner engagement” and where they have failed. John will share his insights into how technologies including micro learning, gamification, badging, nano-degrees, confidence based testing and e-portfolios are being implemented together to drive the latest trends in micro credentialing and ultimately sustainable competencies for corporate learning. John will also examine how online coaching, new platforms, and Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality fit into the corporate learning strategies of the future.
